Colleen Michelle Boudoir Studio | El Dorado Hills

The Studio. I can not even begin to express how amazing it feels to have the studio done! We are DIYers and remodeled the entire studio by ourselves – which I am super proud of! I hate to tell you how long it to took us to complete {felt like forever!} but we’ll just celebrate that it’s done!!

The studio is one of my favorite places. It is bathed in natural light and the huge wall of windows floods the space with the perfect natural light for boudoir sessions. I carefully selected every piece of furniture to match the overall look I was hoping to achieve. To me it is classic, luxury, feminine, beautiful, timeless, sexy and fresh. It is literally everything my brand is all about. And it is the perfect representation of my style. I feel so comfortable in this space and hope that each of my clients will as well.

The dark grey wall is super sexy. I love it! It’s floor to ceiling of gorgeous moldings and detail. The time that we invested to make this wall exactly what I dreamed of is a dream come true. I occasionally move the furniture around with either the bed in front of the sexy dark grey wall or over by the windows. When the bed is by the window, the dark wall is open for beautiful posing around it. Oh my goodness, does this wall photograph well! It’s so rich and sexy!

The gorgeous gold mirror is also a show stopper. I love using the mirror for reflection images and for framing my client. The wall of windows let’s in so much natural light! I love framing my clients in front of the windows and also using the floor right in front of the windows. The flooring is wide plank European White Oak. And boy did I take forever choosing it!! But the overall look is absolutely perfect!

Will you be joining us for a session in the studio? I sure hope so!
