Q: How far in advance should i book my session?
I suggest booking your session anywhere from 2-12 months in advance. I recommend having your session date 2 months prior to when you need your finished artwork.
Q: When & Where will my session take place?
Our female only studio is located in Brentwood, Tennessee just south of Nashville. All sessions take place Monday through Friday starting at either 8:30 am or 12:30 pm CST.
Q:Can I do this even if I'm nervous?
Absolutely!!! Let me tell you that almost everyone is nervous!! Do not let those nerves stop you. Ms. S is sharing her experience and how she conquered her nerves at her session.
Q: Do clients do their own hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup is always included in the session so you get to sit back, relax and get pampered before your session.

Q: The Women that you work with are beautiful. Does Everyone end up looking like that?
The real answer to that is, I don't want you to look like anyone else but you. But honestly, all these women are just women like you and me. I work really hard to pose you in the best way so that you look amazing. You do have to trust me, but I promise I won't let you down. There is nothing like when I show a client the back of my camera for the first time. Most women are so surprised and say something like "Oh wow! That's me?! I can't believe how good I look!" And yes, darling, you will feel that sense of awe to your core.
Q: I don't know how to pose like the women that you work with, will you help me?
I have a secret to let you in on, I don't expect you to know how to pose at all! That is my job! And I will demonstrate each and every pose, so all you have to do is mirror me. I will tell you what to do with your toes, your hands, where to look, and remind you to breathe. And did you know that most of my clients have never done this before! So I promise you, you're in good hands!
Q: I'm not really comfortable being photographed nude, but I really want to do a boudoir session. Is that ok?
Absolutely! You can feel beautiful and sexy no matter how covered you want to be.
Q: do my images get shared?
It is always up to you! This is a very personal choice and you are in control of what happens with your images. We only share images we have permission to share.
Q: When will I select my favorite images?
At Colleen Michelle Boudoir, we book your Gallery Reveal within the week of your session via zoom. You get to select your favorite images and order your artwork at your reveal.
Q: How much do you edit out?
We want you to look like you. For most clients, I smooth skin a little bit and from there it depends on your preference. We can keep things super natural, or we can go full magazine style retouching. We'll talk about it at your reveal so your images look exactly like you want.
