I work 40 hours a week as a nurse as well as commute to school 20 hours a week. I have been so consumed with work and school I have put myself on hold when it comes to my health and beauty. I have not been taking care of myself as I should. I have been feeling guilty of going back to school even though it has been a passion of mine to be an esthetician. I have big dreams, but I have not been able to take care of myself. I just want one day to spoil myself and feel beautiful, sexy and confident again. So I booked a boudoir session with Colleen and said yes to treating myself to a day of luxury and self-love.

Session Day Nerves

On the day of my session, I was nervously excited at first. I wasn’t as confident because I had gained 5 pounds in the past couple of months. We started the session with hair and makeup, which was such a treat. Next it was time to select the lingerie for my looks. I brought my favorite 49er jersey for one look!! I have season tickets to the 49ers and knew that I wanted to capture that part of my life in my session. But the other looks I wore from the Client Closet. Colleen had pulled some looks for me and I tried on a few until I found exactly what I was looking for.

Why I Chose Colleen

Colleen is the sweetest, most encouraging, and welcoming person to do a boudoir shoot with. She makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you are happy. She has such a great vibe you can be at ease with. I chose to work with Colleen because her aesthetic was more my style. During the consultation she just had a friendly and inviting vibe that made me trust her that she would take great care of me.

Lingerie Looks

I knew I wanted lingerie looks at my session and I was going for both a sexy and feminine vibe. My lingerie captured these looks perfectly! I also added on the bonus sets that I’ve had my eye on including the In the Sheets and the Wet Tank Set. Oh my gosh, I am so glad I added those on. I love those images so much!!

Self-love is the Best Feeling

Once I started doing the poses and saw what Colleen captured, I had so much more confidence doing each pose. My experience has made me feel so confident in myself and my body. I was always so insecure about my body, but seeing the pictures made me feel sexy and beautiful inside and out. Being able to feel self-love is one of the best feelings! At the end of the shoot, I fell in love with myself and everything about my body.
