I was EXTREMELY Nervous 2 weeks before and as I prepared myself more by reading the prep guide, various emails and watching the videos you had on IG my nerves subsided. Yes, I was still nervous but nothing like I thought I would be. The moment I walked in, I felt comfortable with Colleen and her makeup artist, Paris. It was like I was hanging out with friends.
If you are thinking about a boudoir session with Colleen Michelle, go for it! You will not regret a moment of the whole process and will feel so good about yourself ~ I wish all women could do this for themselves.

I have been looking at different boudoir photographers online for several years... I spotted Colleen's incredible work online and have been watching her work ever since. As I am not active on social media everyday, I was sadly surprised that Colleen was moving out of state and knew I would be highly disappointed had she not been able to fit me in before she moved to Franklin, Tennessee ~ phew! was I lucky to be one of her final clients in Cali!!!

"I was very nervous but excited for my session. I was worried that when I saw the pictures I would not like what I saw since all I tend to see are my flaws however my nerves melted away throughout the whole shoot and by the time we reviewed the images I was so moved and in love with the way she captured me and all my flaws were now the things I loved about the pictures.
After seeing the way she captured me I have a new respect for my body and all it has been through. These photos showed me that I should not be ashamed of my body but proud. "Before the session, I was excited because I'd seen your work, but I was pretty nervous because I wasn't sure how I'd be in front of the camera and if my body would look how I wanted it to look. However, as we started shooting, my nerves began to settle, and instead, I found this indescribable sexy confidence that felt SO freaking empowering! I felt like a goddess. Your ability to make me feel comfortable, demonstrate the poses, and show back-of-camera results eased any nerves I had early and built me up throughout the session. It was life-changing. I would consider myself a pretty confident person, but not necessarily in a sensual, sexy, physical way. For many years, I think I've suppressed my sensuality but over the last year I've been opening myself up in this way again. My boudoir experience was transformative; it captured my sensuality, beauty, and sexiness in a way that I've never actually seen with my own eyes. It had me saying "DANGGG, who is she?!" at myself! I was so nervous before my session! I even brought a button up shirt because I was scared I was going to chicken out and not be able to fully embrace the process. First of all, the super sweet and personable person we see on here is exactly who Colleen is in person. From the moment I arrived, she make me feel SO welcome and comfortable.
The entire experience was an absolute dream! From the amazing communication and tips prior to the shoot, through the shoot itself, I was beyond impressed. Being naked or barely clothed can feel very vulnerable and a little scary to think about. Colleen made me feel SO comfortable and confident being out of my comfort zone. She posed me in ways that was flattering to my body type, showed me first the pose to make sure I knew what I was doing and that I felt comfortable doing it, and showed me the pictures on her camera immediately after taking it which helped me feel ever more sexy and confident.
This is something I urge EVERY woman to experience. Whether it is before your wedding, for an anniversary, or just for yourself because you want to love your body and feel sexy, this is an absolutely must do experience. If you are on the fence about it, or playing the “I’ll do it when I lose some weight” game that we all play with ourselves, don’t. She will make you look absolutely gorgeous and will give you pictures you will absolutely fall in love with just the way you are. Trust me, I was doing that with myself and I am SO glad I did them. I will be referring all of my friends and family to her.

I was pretty nervous about the shoot at first and I was sweating pretty bad because I run on the hot side, but once I changed into my lingerie I was able to relax, especially knowing that I looked amazing. It was so much fun!
